Music therapy in the prenatal and neonatology wards
premature birth, metabolic disorders, infections, high-risk pregnancy
Hospitalised women with high-risk pregnancies have been able to experience the relieving effect of customised music therapy since 2011. The music therapist also takes care of premature babies and sick new-borns while involving the parents. Music, rhythms and the parents' voices help process the changes after birth and to recover from medical interventions. It also supports the often more difficult development of bonds and thus promotes development and relaxation.
